This is one of my favorite OAMC recipes. Lower calorie and so MANY uses. Can be added to Spaghetti, sandwiches, soups, etc. or just eaten on their own!
2 lb. 90% lean ground beef, 2lb ground white meat turkey
1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion, diced
4 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Shape meat mixture into 1 ½ to 2 inch balls.
Place meatballs on un-greased baking pans. Brown meatballs for approx. 15 minutes or until done. Let meatballs cool. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and flash freeze. Then place a meatball serving size for your family in ziptop bag, label, and freeze.
To Serve: Remove from packaging and added to sauce or recipe and heat.
